Hi!

It has been almost a year and my new home is finally done!  Almost.  I have one room that still has boxes and boxes of papers and mementos for me to go through.  And it seems almost a year since I last wrote here!

I love my home, decorated by the brilliant Howard Elliott.   I have the colors I love: lots of pinks and reds and lavenders.   A kitchen I adore.  And a view of the city I love.

I promise pictures soon!

My new neighborhood is a gem.  At first I was reluctant to trade Central Park for the East River, now I don't know what I would do without my view of the boats up and down the river. Or watching the Tram cross the city on what seem like tiny little strings.

I love my neighborhood and have discovered quaint cafes that rival anything Paris has to offer.

Moving has played havoc with getting to a computer and I have not had a chance at times to answer your emails, if I have not answered yours yet, please forgive me - I will eventually answer.  Today I tackled some of my mail, which I love, and hope to answer everyone in the next couple of weeks.

Many of you have written to let me know you have seen more and more of me on "As The World Turns".  I have so enjoyed being able to get some wonderful scenes.  And I know it is because of the mail you have all sent asking that I be given more time.  I will always be grateful.  As a matter of fact, I have just signed my new contract that will take me to my 50th year on the show!

I would not have lasted if it was not for all of you.  Again, my thanks!

I have a couple of live appearances coming up.

In September, I will be in Johnson City, New York at the Goodwill Theatre on September 19th, 20th and 21st.  Shows on Friday and Saturday are at 8:00 pm. and there is a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm.

My Christmas show this year will be at the Metropolitan Room on Friday December 7th and Friday December 12th at 7:30 pm.  I am working on a lot of new songs and I hope if any of you will be in New York then you will come by and see the show.

I have a couple of links for you to enjoy , I hope as much as I do.  Soaps.com has always been a favorite.  I have also been loving soapoperadigest.com

All my love,
